This Privacy Policy describes how Caddy Pro AI ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Caddy Pro AI mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Golf profile data you provide: personal club distances, shot tendencies, preferences, and round/shot data you choose to enter into the App.
- Account data: if you create an account, we store an identifier and any information you provide during sign-up.
- Purchase data: when you purchase a subscription through the App, your transaction is processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment information. We do receive a subscription status identifier from our subscription provider (RevenueCat) so that we can grant access to premium features.
- Device and diagnostic data: basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, and crash/error logs used to operate and improve the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the App's core features, including AI shot recommendations personalized to your profile.
- To process and manage your subscription, including verifying premium entitlements.
- To improve the App, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- To communicate with you about important changes or support issues, where applicable.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with the following service providers who help us operate the App:
- Apple: for in-app purchase processing and subscription management.
- RevenueCat: for managing subscription state and entitlements.
- Supabase: for secure storage of profile and round data, where applicable.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the email address below. Once your account is deleted, your associated golf profile data will be removed within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- You can review and edit the golf profile information you've entered at any time from within the App.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us using the email below.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Users
The App may be used internationally. By using the App, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States or other countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other reasonable means.
